This presentation details ocean life in prehistoric times, featuring reptiles and more. An Evening with the Easter Bunny

There will be plenty to do for younger children at this event, which includes eggs, of course, but plenty more. Kids will be able to participate in a bunny hop, enjoy carnival rides and inflatables, and much more. Toward the end of the night, kids are treated to a movie. Admission is $5 per child for residents of Smyrna and $8 for non-residents. The city recommends that you preregister to ensure your child gets in, which you can do by clicking here.
Jonquil City Jog

It’s that time of year again, and runners of all ages are invited to participate in the Jonquil City Jog 5K and Kids run, right here in Smyrna. This yearly event features three events: a 1K jog, a 5K jog, and a Tot Trot for the little ones. First out of the gate are the 5K competitors, beginning at 8am. The route is flat, so expect fast times and a great race. The winners get Kenny’s Key Lime Pies so you’ll get a great treat after giving it your all during the race. Free admission, plenty of art and crafts to peruse, great food and much more are only some of the reasons to head down to the Smyrna Spring Jonquil Festival. This is one of the biggest events of the year, with attendance reaching approximately 25,000 over the course of the two-day event. This is a family event, so there’s plenty for the children to do, lots of entertainment to take in and, of course, if you’re new to the community, the Festival is an opportunity to meet your neighbors.
